Had MANY more than we can eat this year and some were not real ripe so I tried on on the hens yesterday. Split it with an ax and set it in there. Seeds and pulp went right away. Rest of the meat was hard as can be. Tonight it was all gone except the very outside of the skin. They loved it. Hope the yolks are REALLY orange int he next few days!!! It would be a good cheap treat for the wnter months....
