Interesting. My Coturnix are all female & all seem very mellow when introductions happen, but they are in a large cage indoors. There’d be room to give them plenty of hiding places.

I’m happy to keep them separate, just considering options. I’m not worried about them breeding but I don’t want them stressed.

YES!!! Mine did!

She raised 2 of her own chicks last summer!

I just tried again with buttons & one hatched but she squashed him.

I actually just put her back with the others today as no other eggs hatched. I feel so sad for her.
