button and coturnix quail hatchin

My coturnix and buttons are due starting today about every other day for a week.. Could kick myself for putting them in as they came. 8, 5, 7, 3, it is hard to keep track of.

I keep wanting to peek.

I hear peeping- must not! not! not!----

I'm looking! I'm looking!!

1 light colored button, 1 light and dark button? and 1 A&M coturnix..

I don't have the ability to put pics on the computor must wait for cd from town.. So pics will come later(will not take them yet anyway)

easiest way I have found to lable a staggard hatch is with PTouch printer,
the labels can be trimmed small wnough to set right n the auto turner, peel off when hatch is over , next staggard hatch P ough again and your golden!

Your milage may vary..

More have hatched!! I can't count through the window though. Not that there are that many just can not see them all. I'm being good,

no more peeks.

Going to do my outside chores so I wont be tempted!

Later to night I will move them to a brooder and take a count.

These are my first from my quail. Tux, brown, pharoah and manchurain are mix in one pen till spring. The a&m are separate. I thought they would quit laying anytime now, must not be quite cold enough. It's not freezing inside their coop yet.
