I have 8 Button eggs that "Were" due to hatch today, but none did. I'm hopeing they hatch tonight.
Tomorrow I have 4 more eggs due, then 3 more on Friday. Sunday night the electricity went off for 2 hours and I had to bring my eggs in my the fire. I had a thermometer in the pan I had them in and it read 100 degrees the whole time. I'm guessing this is the reason they aren't hatching?? I'm also incubating chicken eggs and they are still alive. 9 of the chicken eggs are only 4 days "old" so I can't tell for sure on them but two eggs are for sure alive so

that the quail eggs are too. I have Never had button eggs hatch on the right day either on day 17 or 20 or some. Mostly day 17 - but I'm still a tad bit worried! Here are some pictures of "Pips" that my mom sees - I don't see'em. What do you see? I just need some encoragement - to tell you the truth I have little hope for this hatch.

I always thought it was funny with my buttons that they all seemed to hatch at the same time....You would see nothing and then a couple of hours later they were all hatched LOL!
Good luck to you!!! I <3 buttons

Patience my friend. Sometimes it just takes longer. There could be a slight delay since the power outage but you should get some babies in no time.

Mrs. Fluffy Puffy :

Robo - are you seeing it on the speckled egg? I looked at one and it was just a brown blob and not a pip -

TriciaHowe - I hope you're right!
