Button quail and Bobwhite quail

Does anyone know whether or not it is legal to own bobwhite and button quail without a license or permit in CA? Like just as a pet. Not for selling. Thanks!

Button quail do not require a permit in CA, but bobwhite do.

Since you're in CA, let me know if you want eggs. If you're in my area, I have birds too.

Okay great! Do you sell coturnix quail hatching eggs? What colors do you have? Do you ship?


I dont know much about button quail...can they be housed with coturnix quail?

I also raise coturnix quail. I have pansy fee, and mixed colours. I also have celadon layers. PM me, and we can work out details if you'd like.
