Button Quail are hatching! Moved to Brooder (+PICS)

Don't tempt me. I see you are in Iowa and I am thinking...I live just across the river from Iowa maybe I could drive to pick up some eggs. Wait a minute! I don't even own an incubator and my husband would kill me if I brought another animal into this house.

LOL Ang, Actually I am about a hour and a half across the boarder. But,...... I think I am going to hatch a bunch of eggs the first of March so that they are about 6 to 8 weeks old at the end of April for the big Waverly swap. This thing is not as big as Kankakee but HUGE for Iowa. They have 2 a year and I go to the spring one for sure, havnt been able to make it to the fall one yet. I am also working on talking the hubby into a weekend trip to Kankakee, it is almost 5 hour drive one way for us but it is suppose to be well worth it. I am not sure if we will go in May or June. If I have extras after the hatch in March I will let you know. I certainly dont need any more..lol Here are a couple pics. Jenn
