All of my chicks now have red vent feathers even Cricket, who doesn't have a bib yet. So its actually three boys.

Will I be able to keep them all together as they grow?

Some hens can have red vent feathers. I have has blue face and red breasted hens with some red on the vent. The true indicator is blue feathers. I usually wait until 6 weeks to see how they develop. If they are all males, you can keep them together in a bachelor group. As long as you don't introduce a hen, they should be fine, barring the occasional bird with personality issues.

She looks a lot like that cinnamon pearl someone else posted. Is that a possibility? She's in with the cinnamon blue face male.

It is possible, that's why I asked for a picture of her back. Pearls have distinctive barring on their back, but I couldn't see any on your picture, just the thin striping that both wild type and pearls have. Pearl Back.jpg This is a normal pearl.

I noticed just now a few sold white feathers coming in on his bib as well. The two other siblings have full white bibs already!

The three brothers are so grown up. The heat lamp was raised and them removed early this week as they began to avoid it. They're fully feathered and all getting adult colors. They moved in with the budgies on Sunday and have about 34 x 21 inches of space at the base of their flight cage to run.

They all get along together. The quail eat fallen seeds and the budgies nibble a little gamebird crumble but they mostly stick to their own diets at different levels. Everyone shares treats like broccoli.

My quail eggs in the finch nest have not hatched yet.

That's great! Love the last pic!!! SO ADORABLE!!!

So my mother hen ended up attacking her chick and plucking it so I had to take the chick away. I had her in a brooder but since she's a lone chick, she'd always call out and was so sad :hit

Today I tried putting her in the cage with her three adult sisters as they are all so nice and get along so well. It is working well so far. They were hanging out together and dust bathing together. It's so adorable!
