Button quail color / egg size correlation?

So all of my button girls are laying eggs now, and i've noticed something about their eggs. My wild type and double blue face females lay normal sized eggs, and occasionally really big eggs. Like, "how did that even come out of you" big. My golden pearl only lays normal eggs. My two tuxedo girls, one pearl and the other a blue face, lay small eggs and occasionally normal eggs.

They're all from the same breeder. Has anyone else noticed a correlation between color morph and egg size?

I just have one pair so I really can not comment...interesting though.
