Button Quail Colour ID/Sexing

Darth vader isn't an official mutation, it's just something people call them.

This one has an obvious white line, so probably wouldn't be considered a darth vader.

This one has no white, so is definitely a darth vader. Some (like mine) with hardly any white are also considered darth vaders.

It's not very clear where you draw the line between darth vader or not.

It's hard to tell at this point whether your two black heads will be darth vaders or not. #3 looks like he could be.

So for anyone who was wondering, here's the glow-up 😁

1 - Hen, red breasted tuxedo (she has a little bald patch from her mate either preening or breeding a bit much, hoping it will grow back in time)
2 - Roo, very light silver with white wing tips and without the full bib. Would he be considered ivory?
3 - Roo, I'm still not certain! No full bib either but could be golden pearl? He also has white wing tips.
4 - Hen, thinking wild tuxedo
5 - Roo, red breasted (he's looking a bit frazzled, maybe from over preening?)
6 - Hen, tuxedo, unsure of the exact pattern

The pairs ended up being 1&5, 2&6 and 3&4, so lucky to get 50/50 split!
