Hi all.
I am planning to build a coop for my buttons and have been searching for specific info whether or not to use net on the bottom.
I see most people just have them with wood shaves and that's what i am using at the moment. However, i wonder if some kind of iron net should be okay to use. Would it bring problems to their feet? I believe with a net underneath them, it would be much easier to make the cleanings because all the poop would go directly to a board that would be placed right under.
This coop would have at least 3 floors, like 3 independent cages on top of each other, and to clean i'd just have to remove the boards and replace.
So I just want your opinion before i decide which way to go.
Cheers
