Do Button quails lay everyday like cortunix of rarely?

They will lay everyday...even in a darken room! with very little sunlight or artificial light.
They also lay the largest egg for a bird their size.
It's one of the reasons they have a short life span.

I've had some that lived for 6 years but on average 3 to 4+ years with proper care.
