Button quail gender

Hii so im new to button quails and got a pair recently I've done research but my only problem is their gender :( Im very confused on my quails gender I would really like your guys help and gave a pic of them one my questions are if one of them are a male is it necessary to get another female or is it fine to
keep them as a male and female?
Please help me out :)!

The speckled one is a female Darth Vader button quail, which is one of my favorite, and I don't have one so I'm jealous:p.

The white one proves much more of a problem as the white buttonquail are not at all gender dimorphic. If you see it going around crowing though, it's probably a boy.

None of my button quails crow so im guessing their females thanks for the help! :)
 
Button/king quail are monogamous which means that pairs are best! The right one is a very pretty red breasted female. The left one is a white which can’t generally be feather sexed so you need to vent sex it or wait till a crow, lay or mounting, etc. You said that it’s not crowing so it might be female, especially if they’re mature. :)
