Help Identify Gender

Happy (late) Thanksgiving! Glad you asked, Pumpkin and Licorice are most definitely male and Thunder, Autumn, Spring, Brim, Lightning, are female. Treble unfortunately got taken by a possum, and Amber sill seems male but the other two males are a lot more independent and protective. Will post pics of Amber later.

Possum took your chicken?
Sorry to hear that.
Do you have proof?
I am not doubting. It just that many people say that possums do not kill chickens.
Few years ago, an animal killed one of my hens and then a couple of weeks later a possum was spotted inside their coop.
I dispatched it with a 22LR but after reading all those posts, I had wondered if some other animal killed her and possum was just an egg thief.

Opossum absolutely will take a chicken, I have seen videos of attacks. anyone who says they wont have just been lucky that it hasn't happened to them or if they have lost chickens to them blame something else. It most likely targeted Treble since his leg was deformed so was the weakest of the bunch.

I caught a possum in the act.
My brother blew his brains out with a .22
I had been losing a girl each night three nights in a row. It wasn’t ok.
So one night I went out at 2:14 am, and found 1 possum crawling across the roost bar, and another sneaking through a hole in the hawk net, (undoubtedly ready to help the other little guy carry the corpse out).
I froze them in their tracks by shining my light in their eyes, and talking aloud, while my sister ran in to get my brother and his gun.

POSSUMS DO KILL CHICKENS.
The first one had crusted blood on his paws. (Likely from the previous night).
