Button Quail Growing Horns? Now PICS!!!!!!!!

A picture would be most helpful. I have seen pox many times at the rehab to me it looks like warts and tends to be in the eye beck and feet area at first.

I had one pullet get fowl pox this fall, and it was right near her eye. If your button had a bald head, it quite possibly could be, but it is transmitted by mosquitos and direct contact as far as I know. I don't think fowl pox is a death sentence though, it's one of those things that will run through and then go away. But pics would be helpful. I haven't had any that had any marks on them, other than bald-headedness from having too many males with the females.

I took some pics last night on my sisters phone .. As soon as she emails em to me I'll get em posted.. Thanks for the replies.. You guys are awesome..

WHOA, I wish I knew how to help other than post to keep this bumped to the top. That is scary looking...poor baby! I hope she gets better!

Hmmm....never seen that myself. Good luck in getting help figuring out what that is.

What I can see of it. It looks like picking damage. Dose not look like pox at all to me. I would quarantine that button alone and I would keep the others in separate quarantine for 2 weeks. I think she will heal
