Hello I had a question I set my incubator up 5 days ago and I forgot to pull the air plug will my button quails hatch at %70 humidity and can I still pull the air plug or leave it as is ?

Hello I had a question I set my incubator up 5 days ago and I forgot to pull the air plug will my button quails hatch at %70 humidity and can I still pull the air plug or leave it as is ?

What do you mean by air plug? Do you mean the air vents on the incubator?

If you're only on day 4/5 of incubation, it isn't too late to get back on track. Just bring the humidity back down, open the air vents up a bit to get it right, and keep an eye on their air cells. They should be fine.

Thank you guys so much I got the air vent open and watching it closely tell it drops to around 50-60% for humidity it’s my first run Iv got 67 eggs in and the humidity is down to 67 % already

I have my first button quail in the bater also. 18 of them and on day 3. I decided to do a dry hatch( no water until lockdown) I also live in southern California so the humidity has been staying around 27%.
