button quail neurological issues?

Hi! I've done a lot more reading and changing thing around with my buttons and now have split everyone into pairs as it's quite obvious colonies are not for buttons

My speckled hen seems happy with her new roo, but she still is showing a weird stress behavior I haven't seen in any of the other buttons, it's just pacing back and forth against the back wall, other times she is seen fine, eating drinking etc. but still ends up going back to pacing at some point and im starting to wonder if it's some sort of neurological thing? or can buttons just anxiety lol

just a moment ago she was sitting on eggs with her roo sitting next to her but now she back to pacing with roo standing there confused

Yes, pacing is a sign of anxiety. You need to find out 'what's' causing the anxiety? Could be space, habitat cover, or just plain boredum. Try putting things in the way so she can't pace the side of the enclosure.

How many hiding places does she have? Breaking up the space and giving more hiding places may help her feel more secure.
