Button Quail not laying

Some LED lights are full spectrum, but they would be marked as such. I just hung a reptile uvb/uva full spectrum fluorescent over my quail who haven't been laying. I'll report back if they start back up.
Cheers,
Jessie
Be careful with UVB lights. They work great, but don't go above a 2.0. Birds eyes are much more sensitive than reptiles, and a 5.0 or 10.0 can cause eye problems. Honestly, I just use fluorescent lights, not UVB. Once a week I suppliment with reptile calcium with D3.

As long as she's healthy, it doesn't hurt a hen to not lay. But stopping laying is normally an indication of ill health. But keep in mind that laying is hard on a hen and is likely to shorten her life span if she never gets a break. If you don't want them to lay, just keep them with 10 hours of light or less. With nonbreeding birds, there is no reason not to give them a break. I like getting eggs year round, so I rotate light cycles and some get a break while others are laying. I do the same with my bearded dragons.

The diet of prepared ration and live food seems adequate... Your birds seem healthy judging from the pictures. Perhaps a bit more time...
