Button Quail Question ???

My button quail hens (2) just started laying the other day. My question is, the male painted button quail is setting on these eggs! eveytime I go to look, he is on the eggs and trying to roll them under his body! it is the funniest thing to watch. I was wondering if this is normal? and do the males do this???

I have seen mine roll the eggs around too. They pull them under themselves, then back up, then do it again.

Im not sure if its normal, but its pretty funny...

Yes, it is so funny! Almost as if he thinks he is using them to dust bath!
