button quail stop laying eggs

hi there,
I have 1 male and 2 female button quails and she has laid to eggs and I took the egg away and put it in my incubator and candeled it today and it has veins in it so is fertile the next day after takeing away egg she laid another one now she has just stopped anyone know y

Probably stress. A cat bothering them, your stereo being too loud. The fact that there is an extra hen in there, it could be anything. Most likely she's low on minerals and laying off until her body catches up. Do you feed them oyster shell?

is she puffed up? she might have gone broody. Have you changed anything in or around the enclosure? Stress will make them stop as do the change of seasons and molting. Be sure she has lots of high protein fed and fresh clean water with a dish of calcium and she should get right back at it. I would suggest only having one male and one female as they are that way in the wild. But to each his own. lol Good Luck
