( you 'could' eat them and their eggs but there's not much to either )

*** WARNING ***
If you get those free chicks you will become infected with the button addiction virus. 95% of button quail carry this virus which is harmless to them but highly contagious to humans.
Although relatively harmless you will find yourself looking up button colors at all hours of the day & night .Endless research on their genetics and incubating batch after batch of eggs to fullfill your need for more & more varieties of button colors.

Button quail are great pets. They are also great cage mates for parakeets and finches as they will clean up the spilt feed from them. They make interesting calls and do cute mating dances. It's true. It too have been infected and the thought in your brain means you probably are too. they are addicting and you'll love them!!!

Chickiechick is right........
They are ADDICTIVE!!!!!
We bought 9 at a swap on May 2nd. 5 of them are female....
They started laying eggs and we began incubating them....
We have over 100 now and 78 cooking in the Sportsman....
Oh ya I forgot.... Our addiction could not be satisfied by 2 Styrofoam bators so we bought a sportsman to fulfill our need........
