Button Quail with long droppings hanging? Is this digestive issue or

Good Afternoon,

I was checking on the chics and I noticed one with a long dropping hanging from its rear, is this some digestive issue or some systemic failure and the chic is dieing?

Is it possibly something it ate but couldn't digest? String type thing?

Its possible, I haven't found any, been watching for that and hair and I have two ladies here..lol.

I gonna keep an eye on it and see if it looks lethergic compared to the others.

No Clue Specifically What It May Be, But I Would Definately Add Grit To Its Diet For A While...

How old are they? If they are newly hatched they sometimes have a bit of the yolk sac 'stuck' to them that dried out (absorbed) but for some reason stuck to them instead of the egg. Pics would be helpful

shelleyd2008, I will post some pic's on the next occurence, it didn't look like yoke, picture thick light brown fresh wet spegetti, about hanging down about 1/4 inch...sorry for the mental picture...lol

The yolk I"m talking about doesn't look like yolk either, just a dried up string of a thing hanging from the baby's booty

X2 I have no experience with quail yet but sounds like the roundworms I've seen in dogs.
