I'm now into my 4-5months of raising my 5girls. I have been clucking with others about infested chickens with lice, mites, worms etc. My girls don't have these problems YET. Roosty's, BuffClucks, CrublyFarms, and other companies sell a product that is suppose to prevent all of them, with ingredients like Chile Pepper, Garlic, Oregano etc.. Your request for your thoughts🤔 would be appreciated and helpful. 🐔🐓👍

Those ingredients won’t really do anything. The best “prevention” is to keep a clean coop, provide a dust bath (it looks like you have a dirt ground to your run but I’m not sure how compacted it is) and check regularly for any signs of them so that you can start treating it before it become a big issue.

The dirt is rather compacted from wetting it down daily. I'm planning on stirring it up some with a clawrake. I have a bit of OCD so I clean up the run o🤔maybe 2-3 times daily and checking and changing the temp of the water with ice. I already lost 1 red due to a heatwave. Were in one now. 17543424932984958584267333674903.jpg

I think they're more interested in separating you from your $$$ then helping you out but that's just IMO.
I like the other poster's answer.
