At what age to button quail start laying eggs?

They can lay any time after 6 weeks...but mine didn't start until around the 8-10 week mark

Thanks. I have one that was hatched Nov 12th, and when my daughter was feeding it noticed something in the cage, it was an egg. Found another one last night. Thought she was to young to start laying yet. Man, they grow up fast.

Mine hatched around Thanksgiving, and i got my first egg today.
