Hi, I just found out about button quail 2 weeks ago. And I’ve been watching every video I can find. I’m excited about getting started.

Good luck! They're cute little things. No matter how many videos and pictures you see, it doesn't prepare you for just how tiny the chicks are.

@Nabiki, is right, there not much bigger than a bumble bee when they hatch. Also, they are experts at suicide! Don't leave any way for them to crawl under something and make sure the waterer is absolutely 'drown proof. It's also helpful to put a paper towel down on the floor of the brooder and sprinkle fine crushed feed all over the paper towel...that way anywhere they peck they find food...at least for a week or until they figure out where and what the feeder is all about.
