Button quail

I had to create a username a few moments ago to join this thread, and I chose an awful one so forgive me for that. Looks like all the good names have already been taken. Anyway, in response to the poster from Minnesota. I live in Savage, MN and have two adult buttons, as well as a single chick that hatched five days ago (the lone survivor out of four eggs.) The two adults I keep in a large aviary, shared by a pair of orange-cheeked waxbills and cordon blues.

However I think the name "butthead" is great! If only I could be so comical about myself. LOL

same thing happened to me i saw them and for a year i researched them then i got them and they are soooooooooooooooo cute
 
They are quite addicting! For the last 25 years I have kept buttons off and on. I always go back to raising more. And now there are more exciting colors to breed. When I first started raising them, there were only normals and silvers.
