buttons hatching from tux eggs pictures

How funny. That's why I left...curlies. I met someone here in Oregon who got eggs from Susan. She introduced me to her web page I set it up to get eggs from Susan to mix with a single curly I had then but before they were laying again she got out of buttons. I had asked on there about them and got broad sided. Then I was trying to ask about genetic probabilities of Tuxedo cause I know that the genetics of breeding say white to white although you will get a mix you have a high percentage of many, many whites. I was not sure about the recessive or dominance of tux. Well, I worded it wrong apparently and instead of getting answers to how strong the genetics would be I was left feeling like I was trying to put down people who sell tuxedo eggs. I was just looking for knowledge not an arguement. There truely are some great people on there though.

Do let us know how the hatch goes! I purchased 50 and of the 60 I got I didn't get a single white/pied/tuxedo but man I love to see them. They are just gorgeous! For a few years I have bred for white mutations, temper, and brooding. The whites in all their mutations just are my absolute favorite!

Thank you for sharing your friends picture.

That's how I found this forum was finding out you had Susan's flock. Hopefully when your not so backlogged I can get some of your curly feathered eggs as well.

I lost my only curly ever in late May

It was sad. I didn't breed her and hatch much cause of moving and building a new coop etc. Now I'm back to square one. Last I checked you were into late August? with back log so maybe then I can try again. Well I'll PM you again in August to see.

Nope no more. In the world of buttons it was not a bad hatch for shipped eggs. I am just disappointed in the colors. I will have tuxedo buttons before the year is over! I will I will I will lol

I'm always amazed any hatch after shipping. Glad you got some chickies and even though they aren't exciting colors hopefully they are carrying some super genes so the next generation will be fun
