Buying a coop.

If you want safe chickens and a long lasting coop, I would personally build one. Most of the coops that are store bought (aka pre-assembled) are not predator proof and will not last very long.

It’s good to save money, but protection for animals isn’t something NOT to slack off on.

Any good coop, or even the bad ones, are not cheap.
Keeping chickens is cheep(haha!), housing them is not.

It’s not good to be super cheap with other lives IMO.
