Buying and raising meat birds for other people.

Ok so i am going to be buying and raising meat birds for some one

. They will be helping us butcher all of them

. But if i were to charge them for buying food, birds, and raising how much should i charge? Thanks A Bunch!!!!

At least 5 a bird. and that would be at cost or below cost. You would have to figure what your chicks cost, feed prices and butchering. figure feed at 3 lbs of feed to every 1 lb of dressed meat

Worked it out with a student and I think his break even point was right at that $5-6 range and he charged $8 a bird I believe...later on he went to $10 but that was him processing...I am fairly sure
