Buying button quail eggs online

This would be a good size for two or three coturnix hens. For size reference the terrarium next to it is a basic 20 gallon. It's really easy to clean too. Just place critters in a small box or cage unsnap the top remove bowls and/or decor. Put cage bottom inside garbage bag and dump out old bedding
Re fill with bedding of choice replace bowls etc put top back on and return birds to cage. That's how I usually clean it anyway. You might want to get one of those skirts they make for bird cages to keep seeds and bedding off the floor, they love to dig and dust bathe a lot

would a lone male coturnix quail get lonely even if i were to take him out and spend time with him or would two hens be a better option ?

Two girls are better than one male, he'd probably be pretty loud calling to see if there are girls around. I have a male that only has one girl and he crows a lot more than the male with 4 coturnix hens and a single bobwhite female (who lost her boyfriend and was lonely. )in his cage.

When I ordered button quail eggs I ordered 20 and only had 3 hatch and 1 chick died 3 days after hatch. Lesson learned do not buy from that guy!!! Lol
