Buying chicks--NEED HELP!

Ok. I have a chance to go and get some chicks. One of the breeds of the dominickers (SP). How do I tell them from a barred rock?? I do not know the ages yet. They have both breeds.

also they have feathered legged cuckoo marans. Is that a true breed??? they also have Cream Brabanter. Does anyone know this breed?? Are they sweet???

I believe the comb is the biggest indicator. It's a rose on the dominques....I think.

As it has been said the dominicker has a rose comb and the barred rock has a straight comb. Barred rocks are larger heavier birds also.

I also just read that you can sex a dom with the dots on their head. That is great.
