Buying Eggs, shipping eggs?!?!

Has anyone bought eggs from farmers on Localharvest.org, just curious because we(my mom and I) just bought a ton of duck eggs from them, I suppose I should have asked about it here first, but oh well. I'm curious about shipping eggs too, how is the hatch rate ect. ect., I bought 44 eggs beucase she is sending me some and they have a looonnngggg way to go 8000mi in fact so I bought a lot in hopes I can at least hatch a few, what are my chances??? My mom is packing them so I know the packing job will be done well.

I have never heard of it but i am shure someone wil have feed back.

I got shipped eggs from literly across the entire usa and they all got here unbroken and more then half are doing well as of day 9.
