buying eggs

does anyone buys egg from ebay and come out with a good hatch? i ordered 24 eggs from a guy or girl,7 was broken,the rest was clear,no hatch,waste of money,so i tried another hatcher with eggs,out of 13 eggs,3 are good,the rest are clear,when i sent a message about the eggs he said sorry about that,anyone had trouble like this?

I've had great luck as well as complete duds. I recently received eggs from Louisiana, the first set (3 doz.) yeilded about 15 chicks, the second set of 3 doz only about 5 hatched. Much depends on the handling during shipping, however I have had much better luck with shipped eggs when the weather is still cold. I've noticed that once the temps are over 70ish or so I usually get nothing......therefore I don't ship eggs myself once the warmer weather is here.
