Hi I'm going to buy some trios rare breeds however I don't know wht to get. I seem to like buff orpington so but any suggestions.

And by the way I'm from the uk

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. Buff Orpingtons are not rare here in the US, but if they are rare in the UK, by all means go for them. I have raised BOs for years, and they are very cold hardy, friendly and gentle (my children, and now my granddaughter, made lap pets out of them), and they are good layers of large, brown eggs. Also, they make good, broody mothers if you want to breed them. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Whatever breed you decide to get, good luck with your flock.

Buff Orpingtons are great. I don't consider them to be rare exactly. I would instead call them a heritage breed. Speckled Sussex are also very pretty. If you are not sure where you are going to get the chickens, you might want to post on the UK thread for ideas on good breeders. I am new here and had the same predisposition toward Orpingtons.
This US gal decided to go back to her roots and went with the English Lavender Orps (if they hatch, that is)!
Look forward to seeing what you decide. I almost had to pick a breed out a hat because there are just too many beauties to choose from.
I am sure you couldn't go wrong finding the breed that suits you on this site.

X2 on Black Australorps. They are my favorite standard breed. They are a little smaller than Orpingtons, but typically have a better lay rate.
