Buying wood chips??

Hi yall! Was wondering what type of wood chips are good and safe to use in your run? I am talking about the kind you can purchase from the big stores.. the ones used for flower beds and whatnot...

Yes, they’re safe to use! If I remember correctly, @Brahmachicken240 uses them.

I have used wood chips from a neighbor who cut a bunch of trees and they have been fabulous.. but they are getting wet and rotting so can longer get from her... so was wondering if there are any kind I can buy?

You can use mulch that has not been died or pine bark nuggets (Lowes, Home Depot). I have gotten non dyed mulch from landscape supply places as well. Also add some bigger branch pieces to the mulch.

I buy mine from Rural King. It's horse bedding, but it's pine shavings. $4 and some change
