Up for auction is 12 Olive Egger hatching eggs, plus any extra eggs I get before shipment.

I have 5 OE hens that I hatched out from "HappyChooks", they are Black Ameraucana x BCM, they are black with bright orange hackle and head feathers. All my birds are bearded and muffed. Then I have one dark blue EE hen in the mix along with a gorgeous solid black EE pullet. I have been getting Olive and Blue eggs from my bunch. Gorgeous colored eggs! I've hatched out almost 100% pullets from them so far, only one rooster, that was a splash. So far most of my chicks are solid black, but a couple are starting to get coppering on their breast feathers. I have so much fun waiting for them to feather out so I can see their adult feathers coming in! All the chicks I've hatched out have been robust, healthy, and very active. I have two roosters in with my 7 hens. A Splash rooster and then a blue based rooster with bright yellow/orange hackle and saddle feathers. Neither of my OE boys have ever tryed to attack me. They are very sweet boys, and good gentlemen to their ladies. They always call them over when they find a big, juicy, grass hopper or any other special treat they may find when free ranging.

You will not be dissappointed with these chicks. My Olive Eggers are great rangers and find alot of their food on their own. I have been getting on average 6 eggs daily, sometimes three. They have been laying since last year, and are still laying GREAT! Really impressed with their egg laying abilites.

I send Priority Mail with a Confirmation #. I prefer to ship on Mondays and Wednesdays. If you are very close I could send them later in the week, but I like to send them as early as possible so there is no chance of them being stuck in the P.O. over the weekend. I bubble wrap each egg, and then make a bubble wrap package out of them and gentle nestle them down into newspaper, and more bubble wrap. I try to put them in the middle of the box with padding on all sizes so they have a less likey chance of getting broken. Customers have been reporting good hatch rates. I do not like to mark my egg packages, I find when they are labled 'HATCHING EGGS' Handle w/ care, etc they tend to get broken alot more than the packages that aren't marked at all. I will label them if requested, but will not otherwise.

Oh, forgot to mention above that one of my hens isn't muffed. She is the gamey looking hen in the pictures. She lays a gorgeous deep olive egg. Sorry about that, I'd forgotten I had her.
