Do buzzards kill chickens? I went out to let the family out for a day of searching for worms in the light rain and noticed that my house was completely surrounded by these nasty ugly looking things. [IMG] I quickly changed my mind because I did not know if they would kill my silkies or not... What are some thoughts or experiences on this? I am hoping they were just hanging around because of the rain but not sure. It was like the movie BIRDS but only worse with these ugly things

When you say buzzard, do you mean vultures? If so, vultures are not predators, only scavengers. But true buzzards are a bird of prey, so yes they could kill a chicken.
