That's actually an Anhinga!

Yep, I used to confuse them too. Anhingas have pointed beaks. Cormorants have a hook at the end.

All my photos were taken from a gorgeous lake near to my house, there are 4-6 cygnets every year and always SO MANY ducks! Also a lot of gulls too

I decided to "re wild" part of my yard, sowing perennial pollinator wildflower seeds. We became beekeepers after winning a hive in a contest. Now we have 2, and are so happy we did it! Bees are so important. We don't have a lot of land at all, but the bees are doing great and they love their little meadow. Here's a photo of our "wildlife" and a couple more of the hive and meadow.
