just got back from HinkJC's- Jodi and Charlie's with some buff orps!!! love the little chicks and Jodi and Charlie were most gracious hosts. Jodi gave me and my 5 yr. old son a tour of the birds which he absolutely loved. She was very patient with him and at times patient with his impatience to move to the next set of birds! I can't wait to have the large, beautiful buff orps that I saw perched on thier roosts!! I had never seen buff orps in person so while your realize how big they are when you first see them it makes you go Whoo Hoo!!! chicks all look healthy and lively and are settling in to thier new home. Can see me buying from them again. Very nice to meet both of them and thier daughter. Would recommend them to anyone and I'm sure I'm not the first on BYC to do so. Hi everybody i live in Georgia and i need a male gold lakenvelder because i have 4 females in need of a man. I've looked at all the pages and didn't see any and hope someone can tell me where i can find one i don't really need a baby but i'll take what i can get;would perfer a 3 or 4 month old. If you can or could email me with the info. Will travel a little if need to also.

I never knew this existed. What a space I am.

I want to share my experience with AussieSharon and her Welsummers. She sent me 9 eggs, which were delayed over the weekend and came in 6 days instead of the 2-3 priority mail time. 3 were cracked. She was very understanding and without my asking offered to send 6 more for the price of shipping, which she did. The new ones arrived this morning and they are just gorgeous. Sharon is a great person to deal with.

I also want to say that I got beautiful eggs that were packed wonderfully with none broken in the past from Pips and Peeps, Hinkjc, Bantyman, and Dipsy Doodle. My apologies for missing this thread, and ENTIRE FORUM.

It would be nice to have an easier way to see what experiences others have had with different sellers here on the BYC and an easy way to search for that info. Perhaps there is and I just don't know it

This isn't a complaint, by any means, as I don't really know how that could be accomplished.

I would like to echo what Solsken said about AussieSharon. She is a great seller. I bought 9 Welsummer eggs from her a month or so ago and had 2 pullets hatch. Yesterday I received 13 Welsummer eggs from her. She had each egg wrapped in paper towel, bubble wrapped, and then newspaper around that. Lots of attention went into the packing. You can't ask for more than that. Now if I can just get 13 pullets to hatch... LOL.
