I will trade you your blister beetles for my grasshoppers! They have chewed off my whole garden at the ground.

Turkeys are fantastic grasshopper control. Check with your local weed & pest agency, they often sell grasshopper bait at a subsidized price. The grasshopper bait is not harmful to your poultry or to honeybees. It is deadly to grasshoppers.

I have no idea whether they eat them or not but the only place that I am seeing them is in the garden which is the only place the turkeys aren't. They have plenty of grasshoppers to keep them entertained.

Oh my goodness, I had a puppy that would hop like a grasshopper (down on his stomach, and leap. Down and leap...). It was hysterical!!
