How many miles is 36,000 steps?? That is you at the top right?
I've got 20,501 steps today, and it says that's 9.06 miles. It depends on your stride length. Mine must be pretty average because when I went to figure it out and enter it, I found out it was already there as the default. The 36,000 steps on the challenge is for Monday, too. I always figure about 2,000 steps is a mile. It's actually 2,263 steps, according to my calculator. But who's counting? :lau

I understand the AHA recommends 10,000 steps of brisk walking a day. It sounds like a lot, but really, it's not anything like as much as it sounds.

I was looking through the app and saw stride length. How did you calculate that? Do you need the Fitbit to do that or do I just count my steps while walking a meter or something?

9 miles?? I’d lose all the weight I need to if I walked that daily!

I don't do it every day, but many days, especially in summer. Lots of stuff needs doing. I'm nowhere near keeping up. Today I lost my ducklings. I looked everywhere twice. DH came out to help me and all of a sudden, magically, there they were, right where they were supposed to be. 🤷‍♀️ Laughing at me... 🤨

I swear they are not thirteen ducks. They are one duck in thirteen pieces. Everywhere they go they're not more than a few inches from one another. They're hilarious. Anyway, lots of steps there. 🙄😅

Oh yeah... stride length. You can do that, what you said, or I think if you tap on the right thing, they'll give you instructions for calculating it. Your way is probably more accurate, though.
