BYC is ready for your recipes! We are working hard to put together a great cookbook featuring the best recipes that BYC members have to offer.
First we have a few guidelines that we need to follow in order to make this a great success.
Please use the following instructions to submit recipes. We will be considering a deadline for this second rally for submissions so get those recipes in ASAP.

Thank you for submitting such a scrumptuous looking recipe for the 1st edition of the BYC Community Cookbook.
We are working toward a publishing date and need your help.
Please go to this website and login using the information below. You will be typing in the recipe you have submitted via this email.
It is very self explanatory but I have listed steps to make it easy to follow.

Be sure to complete all fields of the recipe add on.
Once you have successfully logged in, click 'add recipe'.
When the secondary window pops up you will see an entry page for the recipe(s) you have submitted.
Step 1. Your name that you logged in with should be listed as the recipe Contributor in the very first field. You do not have to have your full name but we are requiring at least a first name.
Step 2. In the next blank type in your BYC screen name.
Step 3. Add the name of the state that you live in. If you are from a country other than the USA type in your location including your country name.
Step 4. Type in your recipe name.
Step 5. Most recipes do not have a subtitle. This may be left blank.
Step 6. Select a catagory for your recipe.
Step 7. Skip the symbols area please.
Step 8. Begin listing your recipe ingredients.
Use the pull down menus to facilitate the consitancy of the recipe form.
For example if your recipe calls for 8oz cream cheese use the pull down menus so that it reads
1 8oz pkg cream cheese
Or you use canned black beans in your recipe -
1 can black beans
Step 9. In the large field you will add your recipe directions. Be sure you type in every step of the process to create your dish. We will be spellchecking and proofing but we will not be making your recipe to know if it actually works as you have written it.
Step 10. Add any recipe notes you feel is required. You are limited to 375 characters so try to be brief.
For the directions and notes you can copy and paste from the email your original recipe directions.
Step 11. Check and double your recipe before you click save. Once a recipe is saved it cannot be changed with my having to change it for you.Please don't make me have to go in and edit 200 recipes.
Step 12. Use the spell check feature given under the recipe notes section. Please. We will be proofing the recipes but even spelling errors can slip past us and I don't want anyone to have hurt feelings if a typo makes it through. Check, double check, triple check your recipe.
Step 13. Preview your recipe. If you like the way it looks move on to Step 14.Please use these tools to your advantage.
Step 14. Save your recipe by clicking at the top of the preview page. Closing the window without following this step will loose your submission and it won't be in the book if it isn't saved in this step.
If you have another recipe to add, click add recipe at the top of the preview page. Repeat steps 1 - 14. When you have completed your submission continue to Step 15 and log out.
Step 15. Log out.
Step 16. Please reply to this email that you have completed editing your recipe submission.
Please do NOT add a recipe that has not been submitted through the submission page tool on BYC. This is a MUST!
