I do cheat a bit and use my blender to "chop" them up (don't have a food processer right now). Yes, I end up with mostly little pieces, but that's fine with me. DH does not like big chunks of tomatoes any way, so this works!

My DH 'couldn't' find one for me. So when I found it, ordered it with the $ I made addressing envelopes, and then LOVED it... Well, he felt really guilty. So now he ordered me the berry & pumpkin attachments as well as a grape spiral for berries and grapes.

If I were you, I'd print off a picture of the thing from a website, write "Get me this for Christmas" on it, and then tape it on the fridge. Seriously. It will pay for itself in a short time next spring/summer.

well i borrowed rockets idea of the egg stand....DD went to work yesterday and sold 6 dozen!!!

guess its time to get more chickens!! DH ought to love this.....LOL

Way to go Scoot! that has been my average for a day of selling. good thing I only go out there once a week now, because with the chickens I have, I am only getting a dozen a day and I have to keep *some* for myself.

That's a lot of canning! You're going to have one nice pantry! (or root cellar or whatever you have)...

I should be baking but I am being lazy, except for the fact that I just ordered 30 fuzzy butts!

I sure hope they do OK shipping in November. I didn't get a jump on things fast enough to get the date I wanted. McMurray is selling out fast! So, it's Thanksgiving chicks for me...

I am kind of nervous and I have over a month to wait!
