Good Morning all the sun is trying to come out and shine here. Sure hope it does it is 23 outside and frost over everything brrr. Boy did we have trials last night before bed, the wall heater went out, thinking it was out of gas DH changed tanks and lit it and goes out again, so he changes that one as it had a partal amount, lites and then out, so he works on what seems to be a pilot lite problem and cleans the heater again ( just blew it out with compresser last month) this time he used vacum cleaner and tapps on the line knocking loose abit of carbon. And still no luck this goes on for 45 minutes. We tag teamed the pilot button it seemed to have gas but would not hold flame. And since our wood furnance is in midst of repair this is our only source of heat. So with 2 tanks feeling like they are 1/2 to 1/3 and one full, DH changes out regulators on the tank and it works. With and wonderful orange glow to the bricks, aahhhh heat. He checks out the one he took off and it seems mud dobbers had built and mud hut in the vent. Go figure small critters causing such big trouble.
Queen Scoot I love the cow, she is adorable
, good luck with the new chickens you must post pic, please, please.
Well I hope everyone is well and healing up amidst the falls, creeping crud, and busted fingers.
I sure hope no one else gets .
I did get 2 more circles done on Zoe's Afghan before I dozed off.
sk I am sure what ever you come up with for SS will be great. But just in case I could use a papertowel holder for the table hint hint hee hee
I did finally get a couple of ideas of what to do for my SS gift, just hope the recieptant likes it too. I still am looking for a pattern of sorts to make a sweater/jacket with my swap squares. I know there is one out there some where.
Well gals I gots to get some and get started on some chores before work. Have a sunshine filled day, tata for now.
That pink ripple is gorgeous!! Love the red and blue blocks, too!
We had a nice show this weekend, a bit too much "excitement" with a couple of accidents, but still good....
This weekend made me realize how much BETTER I feel when I don't spend ritualistic time on this computer, so (even though I don't post much, I did read a good bit) I am going to spend even less time on it.... I will miss you all.....I'll come back to catch up every so often!!!!
Morning all!
finger is doing better...still awkward because I keep it covered when going out since it is ugly and I don't want to gross anyone out. Still typing with the alternate methods of hunt and peck...
Lovely work on those afghans! The pink one makes me think of spring and Easter.
Well, I've got a chicken trying to live in my feed room (she's the one that gets picked on the most) and a book fair at my kiddo's school to go work at so, ta ta for now!
UGH you just HAD to remind me of the kiddo's book fair huh! Alyssa has one too! And since she is trying awful hard to learn to read half the amount that mom does, poor kid needs tons more books! (like she doesn't have enough, they keep falling off the shelf)
Well whoever gets my SS, they are getting pecans straight off our tree. Caydence is out there 4 times a day with the pecan pickerupper and she still can't keep up with the bounty! Good thing too, last year's crop wasn't that great, we had too much rain, they all went yucky before they dropped.
I need organizer stuff: shelves, bookcases, craft in-progess spaces, handy dandy husband...etc
Oh and let's not forget, a bigger house to hold all the cool stuff I want!!!
Man, I love easyoff oven cleaner, as I 'clean' the oven, I at least get to sit for a minute. Now off to fold the laundry, think I'll make my lil helper put them up. She's been whining that she wants to fold socks......
By all means, grab it! Stake your bum in the middle of the floor, and growl that it's yours!
Can I send the pecan grabber girl with the pecans? She comes with an older sister and a dad! Clothing and car booster seats extra. I keep the birds though!
Ya know what's sad and almost pathetic.... when I have to go to the feed store, the guys that load it in the van for me, WILL NOT let me in the yard unless I bring the brat!!! They even give her a dollar everytime for a coke. These two guys are a little slow (mentally), and don't look like they've ever had enough money to live on, yet they insist she has that dollar and a quarter for the candy dispenser. I know it's sweet and all, and she's very polite to them, but sheesh! If they keep this up, they'll go broke. And all of that, just because she likes to ride the forklift with them to get the hay. Wish I was cute with long blond hair!
here's her and daddy
The pecan picker & sis can come...the dad...hmmm, have to think about that one. He isn't bad looking though, so he may have a good chance!
Your little girl is a cutie
& it is the going to the feed store & getting the "extras" that she will always remember, sorry you lucked out!
I remember when I was about four & this black gentelman, lived down the street from my friends house. Every time I went to the friends house, we would walk past his house & he would come out & sit on the porch & give us candy. We also walked past his house because he had a apple tree & we would grab an apple for our walk.
The apartment is for sure ours. We weren't going to move until the first, but he said come get the key the day before Thanksgiving & move in anytime after that...with NO prorated rent for that 5 days.
Awesome deal! Will he allow a bird? Is it an apt complex, or like how they are up north in smaller towns?- an apt being those tiny houses behind a house?
Can I come if he can't? I'll throw in the extras for free if I can come!
I do laundry! I even match up socks!
