Yeah, SE, did Travis ever get those points??

Our last race to determine the points championship is this coming saturday. Travis has to finish 8th or better to win the points championship and seems everyone and his brother is planning to race this weekend..soooooo, who knows, with a car count as big as is expected, anything could happen, guess he's meant to win it he will and if not, well, I'll be crying a river for sure!! He has worked so hard for it and had the worst luck with motors blowing and things broken this season than ever in any of our racing seasons, so please be wishing him good luck on saturday, it will be appreciated

I have eeryone paired up for the Secret Santa!!! Can't wait to tell you who you have!!! Do want to wait till sunday though in case I can entice anyone else into joining, if so, I'll mix up the assignments a bit so the last few wont think they have each other...soooooo sign up if you havent already!!! Make anything home made and have it mailed to your partner by December 15th!! Sign up closes this saturday!!!

Nice to be off tomorrow, have alot of laundry to do..and maybe some crafts too, loL!! I'll try to get a picture of my cork wreaths I made this weekend taken and posted on the christmas crafts thread tomorrow, I thought they turned out nice.​

oh man! I totally forgot again today to get pics taken of everything to show you guys, Oh well its cold wet and rainy here anyway so who really wants to see that! I will get them though. one of these days.
SE if travis doesn't win the points race than we will crochet him a winners cup, cuz lord knows you all deserve it with all ya'll have gone through this season. LOL!

sk yer family is totally cute. yer luck to have one that wants to help, I have to be a mean mommy and follow them around with the flyswater to get them to do anything. LOL.

ris hang in there that finger will get better I promise, I know as I had my first finger stepped on by the horse at the beinginng of this year and mine healed up fine. not even any scars.

well I got 2 more boxes in today, redhen and alpacachick. the squares arrived safely, and the new mail lady even stopped and meet me at the front door to make sure they didn't get wet. Now that I like. no more soggie boxes or mail whatso ever.

I almost have everyones and then I will start getting them off on their journeys back to each and everyone of you.

well I am off to take care of a few more things before settling down to finish my SS project I have to find a pattern to finish the legs which reminds me ris do you have a pattern for the legs on miss cluckie? well talk to yall later Maw.

Been trying to keep up w/ all the pages... WOW! I see we've ALL been busy! I just started a baby bunting for my SIL and am finishing up a few of my Christmas decorations!

I just used the comb and leg pattern from this chicken, but the whole pattern seems pretty easy to understand....(Maw, Miss Cluckie has the legs, Miss Vroom has the comb

. That little one sure is a cutie. Does she like horses? I could use a youngin that likes folding socks. Then after laundry we could go feed horses and brush them down, then feed and water ducks and chickens. Then we will bake pecan sandies the pecans you send with her. For a tea party.

No Chicks that is great news on the new place , will ya have a balconey? If so I'll send ya a tomato plant to pot for some fresh ones next season. We have some ripening in the greenhouse now. When we get things a bit more organized I will post some new picks. I have petunias blooming now. It smells so sweet

Maw sure sounds like things are moving along quite well but of course they would you are so very orginanized. (sp?) And I am soo bad at spelling. Nice ya got a new post woman that is very consinderate. Can't wait I'm goina do some more looking for a pattern to make jacket/sweater with my squares.

rotfl!!!! It was a wooden "no-no" spoon at my house and I smacked Travis with it once and it flew up in the air in pieces..didn't even hit him hard, we all stopped and gasped and then he cracked up and pulled a rubber snake out of his pocket!! The spoon hit the snake in his pocket and broke, we still laugh about that!! The flyswatter is pretty good too though!!!

I agree Karan, this thread feels like "home"..see how fast we "hooked" in Skand and No Chicks!! Very nice group you all are, awesome friends.

...speaking of new people..good opportunity to encourage recruitment...see if each of you can get at least one new person to join the thread before the spring swap......that is your challenge if you chose to accept it!!!

I have a baby lionhead bunny white with blue eyes.Went to a chickenstock on Saturday came home with a red star,2 silkies and a bunny.My DH was like well now I have to build a bunny hutch and I said no the bunny is a house bunny.He's given up now bunbun is in the living room and that's where he's staying.
Karen I'm so jealous of your greenhouse,I would do just about anything for fresh tomatoes right now.
In my house it wasn't a flyswatter it was one of those small cheese board with the handle.I called it the paddle and never touched DD once with,just had to show it to her. Then all of a sudden it was missing never did find it .She told me last year she burned it in her freinds woodstove.

Gals I hope everyone is well this morning.
I slept well for once I did not worry about the temp in the greenhouse as DH installed a new wall heater. And it seems to work nicely. Got up and the temp was 51.3 in there compared to 38.1 that it was one morning. Oh soo much better and will be even greater when a second one is put in.

Well it's raining and cool here gota take Noah to the bus to stay dry. be back
