If anyone asks, you are to tell them NO! And NO!, I don't sweep or mop. (Even though for a very small 3 bd, 2bath house), I have one of those janitorial sized mop and mop bucket. I only have a kitchen, living room and bathroom to mop. But I get it done in like 15 minutes.

I couldn't sleep for the longest last night, and I think I've got my SS ideas flowing.. Just got to wait and see who the unlucky victim is going to be.

Speaking of SS... Is anyone allergic to smelly stuff, like potpourri?
Nuts? chocolate, or anything anyone might send? Around here, you wouldnt believe how many people are allergic to everything, it's amazing people didn't die being born. I used to clean our church, asked just to be nice, if anyone was allergic to smelly stuff (carpet sprinkle), SURE enough, the church secretary was. Guess I'm lucky she no longer works there, cause I clean it again, and whooo buddy, I love febreeze!

Sk I also (whooo buddy, I love febreeze!) with 3 dogs , a mna and a boy all living inside our mobile home I really use it.

Well gals I'm going to do the rest of the laundry and go chase some dust bunnies (only kind of Bunnies in my house) Since it is raining out I will stay in for a while. I may put a Cornedbeef brisket in the oven to cook all day and Smell uummmm.

ahhhhhhhh I love the smell of cinnamon brooms, not the pinecones, brooms. I haven't even seen the brooms the last couple of years.
Then again, I'm a stickler for pine-sol. Cannot stand that fabuluso crap. I tried it once, was on sale, ughh it bubbled too much for me. If I wanted to mop with soap, I would have used dawn! OO I got one of those Dawn dish soap bottles with the air freshener on the bottom, after a couple of days at full strength, it smelled kinda good. Next time, I'll only take off one side of the airvent stickers.
I have one of those oil warmer candle thingies. I call em pretty stinkythings, it's that votive candles in the bottom with the glass thing above it that you put the liquid po'poor-eee in. mmmmmmmm I love punkin spice. Or mulberry, I drool for a pretty mulberry smell, not sweet.
I can go for days on pretty smells, never been able to smell flowers, love stinky things, well not stinky (there's an egg exploded in the incub. yuck!) Now do we all see why I am on an air freshener kick.
Off to scrub-a-dub. Have a bubbly day yall!

No balccony, but there is a large garden area that we can use. Hubby is all excited!

Yayy! I only ended up with one load of laundry, towels, and they are in the dryer right now. Dishes are done, coffepot's clean, it had a rough morning, something bout sleepy eyes making coffee ground mess. I have the hamb. meat thawing out for either lasagna or ham helper for dinner tonite. Alyssa has speech today after school, so we'll be home a lil after 5. Dont know if I'm feeling chipper enough to have everything ready to have Jim throw it in while we're gone. Lord knows, if I leave it for him to remember, it's forgotten. Floors are swept, birds are fed and watered.
Caydence is done with her homeschoolin for the morning. I work with her in the mornings on letters, flash cards and numbers, then throughout the day, its a mixture of while we're at it, let's learn more, and ugh go sit and play with something that makes you think., blocks, colors, books, lincoln logs, train set etc. Poor kid, she should have started head start this year, since she goes to speech, but they tested her intellect, and at 3 she scores at a 6 year old level. SO believe it or not, she's too smart for the school of her age level. At least Alyssa is in a magnet school, she'll start gifted/talented classes come spring time. She was tested at 5 and scored an 8 year old intellect. Umm how'd my kids get
smart?

okies, off to clean the bathroom, maybe today I'll be brave and get the sink scrubbed. I have one of the cleanest toilets around, it's the sink that stops me in my tracks, hate taking everything off just to wipe it down.

Morning all. Getting a late start.

This is for you in advance SE and Travis!

I somehow was possessed and signed myself up for every day this week at DD's book fair. It's very dangerous. We love to read here.

And I always spend way too much at these things. Skand, sounds like we share a book addiction.

Otherwise, I am fighting the urge to hibernate (I build my nest for the winter with books) and trying to figure out what to put in the crock pot, since Karan inspired me...hmmm I am a bit low on the crock pot ingredients...

I am forgetting so many, but everyone's in my thoughts!

LOL Shanah!!! You should be reading CROCHET books, then no guilt!!!! I like to read recipe books and crochet books..how weird is that?!! Have fun at the book fair, I always bought way too mcuh for my kids when they came home with those book orders..I think at one time we had all the Goosebumps books! Then my daughter got into the Sue Grafton alphabet books and read all those, reading is just tooooooo sllllllllooooooowwwwww around here, lol!!! I love to read but I'd rather crochet or work with beads or some other craft first.

Love, love love corned beef brisket!!! I crave it sometimes!! I fix it with a pot of boiled potatoes. I have vegetable beef soup in the crock pot for lunch today, loads of beans and peas and corn and hamburger and tomatoes..always a crowd pleaser plus its really chilly outside here.

I like the christmas cinnamon too but I can relate to Angie being overwhelmed with the smells at walmart and the cinnamon does seem to be the strongest. Like Skand, I prefer the mulberry or even the pomegranate smells..ever burned a pomegranate scented candle??!! WOW!! Nice!! I use that scent in my soaps alot and it's always wonderful, like the peppermint smells too but yeah, the euc. smell is graveyardish to me, not my favorite either.

Doing chores today too but I think I'll get my picutres made of my cork wreaths and post those in a bit for you...congrats on the new birds Scoot!!! Very cool, new servants in the courtyard..order them to lay alot of eggs!!!

Secret Santa Items: Must be a HANDMADE item of reasonable cost or investment. For example .... if I were to crochet a long scarf out of nice yarn and add a spider ornament to that, I would think that would be a nice gift...if I made a record bowl with the crocheted washcloths and the music cd and music soap like I plan to make for my co-workers, that would seem like a nice gift to me too...you all are talented and what you make does not need to cost much, just be thoughtful about it and it will mean the world to whoever gets it, I'm sure
