Bathroom's done, Caydence has blocks on the liv floor so now I've got to beat her to pick them up so I can mop. Nahh..nvm, I'll just pack the kid in the van and head to wally-world till Jim cleans the spare er pet room up. That busted egg smell is about to kill me. I went past gag 10 mins ago. We cant get in the incub yet, got three trying to hatch. Guess they're taking thier time, wanting to stay in the shell till the smell's gone.

Y'all are so much fun! Even when I don't have time to chat, I find myself stopping by just to see what's going on. No school here today - for a change, we have Veterans' Day off.
I've been giving SS a lot of thought, and can't wait to get my person's name. I think this will help us newbies to get to know the crew a little better, don't you think?
As for the "smelly stuff", as long as it doesn't have all the different smells like the cleaning aisle at the grocery store, I'm usually okay. But I really like the cinnamon, pomegranate, cranberry or pumpkin pie smells.
SE, DH & I can't wait to try that blueberry vodka. We've already been talking about who to give it to. And I found your crockpot applebutter recipe on another thread. That will be so good to give to friends.
My prayer shawl will be done by tomorrow. I'll try to get a pic posted before I take it to Nancy.
Skand, how's that shawl going for you? Did you finish it?

LC, I need to get mine out of the garage and give it a stir and see how the fermenting is going. I think I'll hang a tag on mine with the recipe for a blueberry martini and hopefully it will make a nice batch!

Made this from a kit I bought at Michaels but added the green seed beads since it seemed to need some pop...

and....trying to keep Ms. Vroom from hugging up on all things Travis!!! lol!!! Sure hope she is good luck for him...she is Shanah's baby!!

Here's that mini horse pattern..... it's not the greatest, written instructions were NEVER my strength. If I have been to vague on any parts... just message me and I will do my very best to clarify. If you print this sheet out regular sheet size... that is the size of my template... though you could make it as big/small as you want it

Lessee, all the talk of crock potting has a roast in the pot with potatoes, onions and mushrooms (and few hidden kohlrabi) for supper tonight.

I finally got Hannah's (DD's) Brownie patches for her vest so she doesn't have to look like a naked Brownie any more. And now I think I am going to just sit and stare at the screen until I have supper with the fam and fly out to the book fair this evening.

I like having a car back, but it seems to attract errands and then I end up doing a lot of running and spending a lot of monet.

Skand, I am a little sensitive to smells, but only strong chemical ones like cleaning stuff and really strong perfumey things...anything mild, herby, cinnamony, natural is ok. It is good of you to ask, because I didn't even think of that. good idea!

I am off to find a snack to bring back to the screen with me. Hope everyone is having a good day!

Well, the only thing our family is allergic to is dust, well gee, we live in west texas, it's the only thing of major abundance, and it's more of an allergy then allergic (is there really a difference?)
Jim is allergic to bee stings, the girls, we don't know yet, and hopefully never find out whether or not! Made Jim mad a few weeks ago, we were outside, and here's me, toting around my famous mountain dew, little did I pay attention, but a busy bee thought my soda was as good for him as it is for me. Took a big ole drink, instant spew out. Freakin bee stung the inside of my lip. It swelled up enough for Jim to laugh at me for not searching first. Last laugh was mine alone. Within 10 minutes, swelling was down and you couldn't tell I was stung at all. Neener neeener, teach you to laugh at me!
I ask for allergins because so many are leery of things from other people. And people's tastes are so diverse nowadays, I never know if it's kosher or not to offer. Vegans, vegheads, allergics, lactose intolerants, nutaphobs, wierdos.. .you name it, I'm NOT! lol
As Jim pointed out when I first went to maine, lay off the spices! I love jalapenos, his tummy doesn't!

Oh yeah, can we get room themes from everyone, so our SS might not clash with interior designs? Sure would hate to send someone something purple for a room trimmed in blue! As in, my kitchen is a modgepodge of fruits/veggies and baskets, yet my living room is green-ish furniture with a wrought iron coffee table. Yeah I decorate early garage sale/goodwill, salvation army. LOL Hey, saves me money, the girls destroy anything weak.

OMG!!!!!!! Just tasted my home brew....holy cow!!!! That is gonna be EVER SO GOOD!!!!!!! The kahlua is pure yummy and the blueberry vodka will be DIVINE over ice with a twist of lemon!!!!!!!! You all HAVE to make some of each.....or at least head this way so I can share mine....whoooo hoooo...a backyard still is next, lol!!!!
