WELL?????? Having a hard time with the box to bigger box upload/download what not.

Hopefully ONE of these days!!!!!!!!!

I did not get your email but I did find a pattern for sunflowers that was just like one I received in the last swap.

I do have a total of 9 squares right now that are all different. I am just so indecisive about the square. I PROMISE I WILL post pics one of these days

Photobucket didn't want to work for me for a while until I updated a program.

Have you tried the new BYC upload system? You can bypass the web hosting sites by using it. I tried it for the first time today.

That's a bummer you didn't receive the e-mail. I think this pattern is probably like the pattern of the square we received from the last swap.

That's awesome that you have 9 completed already. That's great!!!!

I wish I could learn new patterns that fast. Can't wait to see them.

You are sweet. They need a little tiny bit of work, but hopefully they will get better w/ practice.

Did you ever receive that e-mail I sent you w/ the pattern?

Hey........ where's the pics of the new pattern you are trying?

I'd love the pattern, too!!! They are so neat!

Amy I am also having issues w/ getting mine to be 6". I think b/c of the combo w/ the thinner yarn they are coming up a little shy of 6". I think I'll try to stretch them. LOL!!!!!

I think a "a bit shy" can be tugged some..better a bit shy than too big I think when trying to match them up into a project....what is everyone planning to make with theirs this go round? I heard Salamander saved hers to put with these which should make enough for an afghan!! Smart girl!! What's everyone else planning? I am not sure either... don't need another hippified bag and can't imagine who, other than me, would appreciate one as a gift, loL!!! Maybe I'll make big borders on mine and make a lapghan.

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!

Yep, there were some funky size squares from the last swap. I agree that it will be so much easier to connect if we all can measure them to be 6".

I'm going to see if I can find some better yarn. I don't like the thin whimpy stuff for the squares.

I'm still not sure what I'll make. I still have all my squares from the last swap waiting for me also to make something.

Scrambled, I'd love a "hippified" bag as a gift.

You can make one for me if you want.

Yep, BYC has an upload tool now for pics. It's above in the blue menu bar.

I had no idea either.

I just realize we had it last night. I used it to upload the sunflower granny square pic.

I am NOT computer literate, so if I can do it anyone can do it!

My suggestion, to keep uniformity, is to use worsted weight yarn for the blocks for the swap. That's just my $.02, though.

Finally...3rd time a charm! I had to drop 2 hook sizes smaller to get my block right at 6". WHEW!

I've never had that happen. My guage is always right on what it should be. If anything, I worry that I crochet too tight, definitely not too loose.

Oh well...1 down...more to go.

I have my own web hosting for my blog and websites, I have all my images uploaded there. Don't want to deal with free image hosters.

Amy I have been using worsted weight cotton and love it! It makes the nicest looking square! My christmas yarn is acrylic worsted weight but the cotton is my favorite. I normally use a H hook, sometimes a G.

Kim you are too funny about that hippified bag girl!! I do have your address you know!!! You'd fall out if that thing showed up on your doorstep!!

Hey Leep! It's sugar n cream and peaches n cream...from walmart and michaels..the better colors are at michaels. Works up sooooo nice and makes the best shaped squares. I'll take some pictures of the purples ones and post those as soon as I can...I think further back in the thread I posted some beige and red and yellow ones..same cotton yarn and it's cheap too about 1.20 a skien. You'll be "hooked" , lol!!
