BYC Drawing Club(NEW!!!)

X2, or because I'm bored in class- that doesn't happen very often anymore now that I'm in high school... Too much work... Maybe that's why I haven't drawn in such a looong time. XDD :/

i doodle while doing math XD i am homeschool now.

I doodle on my notes during like every single class (and boy does it annoy the teachers) so much that when my science teacher used to catch me drawing she'd all of a sudden in the middle of class be like "MOUSIE!! Stop doodling and pay attention!!!" But now she's just given up xD

my sports now is horse riding XD and minis :love (horses)

Erm... does walking count as a sport? XD

Riding is like, the best sport OF ALL TIME. I absolutely love it. Especially cantering hehe :b

Lol I have zero competitiveness. I don't even care about it. I have to say that I've never broken or sprained anything in my body ever. Yet. lol

Same here sista

Who is up for the challenge

Ohh! I wanna try! But after I finish the drawings I'm doin right now :b

I ADORE the new drawings! You guys are so creative and do fantastic work! The horse thing is wicked & very well done! The eye is beautiful. I sure hope art teachers have improved and appreciate fantasy work these days.

Let me tell you girls a little secret about high school...Sally will chime in with me on this one...mean girls stay mean and miserable. Years from now, boys will run into you or contact you on some social network, telling you how much they secretly dug the art chick back then and lamenting the fact that you are now happily married to a dude much hotter and cooler than them. Cheerleaders will commission you to draw their kids for fat wads of cash, and you will run into your psycho gym teacher at Walmart, where she will ring up your groceries politely, bowing her head, telling you what a good job you're doing with your kids and flabbergasted to see that you, the poor, goth art chick, made it, and is living happily ever after. (yours may not be at Wally World, per se, but it's rather likely that the time will come that they will say, "would you like fries with that?" Or "How may I help you, ma'am?") There will be bumps in the road, and you will overcome them. This will p*ss people off immensely, which is just a bonus. Your unsupportive art teachers will brag about you being their prodigy, and attribute your success to their teaching. You'll politely smile & give them the finger. Try your best, for now, to suck it up and participate. Have more confidence, because one day you will & will regret not having it then. You're beautiful, made of awesome, and can rule the roost.

That is all. Go back to scribbling fantastic doodles, get your work done, and don't do drugs.

Great Job! I love it. So things will improve, but for the record, high school still sucks. I was depressed all last year, but I'm much happier this year. That is because I'm doing the PSEO program. I'm technically in the 11th grade, but I don't step foot in my high school anymore. I'm going to college and getting the education free for the next 2 years. My mom always told me that college was completely different from high school, but I never believed her until now. People are so much more accepting and everyone is so nice. You also have a lot more freedoms. It's nothing like high school! So there is something to look forward too. And to everyone else here who is also in highschool, I highly recommend that you look into the PSEO program. I mean, it's free college and you can get away from high school 2 years sooner.

Well, back to drawing!

Awesome! I'm not in high school yet, but I do a lot of the high school activities and classes and all in the high school building.. People don't like me that much so most of the time I just try to fade into the shadows, which works pretty well I guess. But maybe that'll change one day!! For anyone still in middle school, I suggest taking the Duke Tip program- it allowed me to take the SAT in 7th Grade and it'll really help when your applying for college!!

I don't fade to the shadows, and I don't stand out.

I'm the same way. Nobody ever bullied me, but no one liked me either which can be pretty depressing. I just stayed in the shadows. And you should look into the PSEO program, especially since you have time to prepare. You get 2 free years of college which is amazing considering how much college costs and it sounds like you are already preparing. I hope to have my AA degree by the time that I technically graduate high school and then I'll tranfer to a bigger and better college.

If it's not obvious, I really do try to make people aware of the PSEO program. I wouldn't have heard about it if it weren't for my cousin who did it. All you have to do is be in the top 1/3 of your class for 11th grade and the top 1/2 of your class for 12th. You can skip 11th and 12th in a sence and go straight to college. For those 2 years, any classes you take are covered by the govenment and you don't pay a penny.
