It's awesome! Thank you so much 3D! Would you mind if I printed it and brought it to my friend once I draw mine?
That's so cool! My daisy picture will have got turned into a drawing and then got sold! COOL!Haha, I probably will add more and donate it to be auctioned off for a shelter near by![]()
I have a few questions for everyone. How did you learn to draw? Was it just lots of practice, or did you take a class? I have always wanted to be an artist, but I'n not at all good with a pencil. I am pretty good at drawing cartoon images if I have something to look at, that's pretty much it though. Lol!
Hey all. Loving most of the drawings here. There in lots of talent on this forum!
I'm a photography major and graphic design minor at my college. I've taken various art classes for my minor but have mostly skipped around drawing until now.
I'm in drawing I and I'm loving it! I had been intimidated but now the challenge is fun. Doesn't hurt that I have an amazing professor.
Anywho. They aren't amazing but here are some charcoal drawings on newsprint.

I practiced and practiced and practiced. For awhile, I just drew horses. Then for Christmas I got two new drawing books, one for humans and one for animals. I usually can't do drawing books, but these really helped me! Two things that really, really, really, helped me- 1.) Your mind has a problem with seeing things as they are. once you draw a thing once, you usually draw it that way again and again- you mind likes to put things in patterns. You have to see past the patterns and actually draw what you see. Does that make sense? 2.) Lines are an artists biggest enemy- if you want to draw real people for example, you don't want to use line lines. I draw the lines lightly and either erase them after I have the part shaded in, or shade them into the drawing. the only line I use is for in between the lips.I have a few questions for everyone.
