So, I traced my original drawing:






and changed a few things, because I was trying to achieve the look of a wise old wolf, since he didn't look much like Scar as a wolf. I removed scar over the eye, reposed the tail and one leg, and added a few more details, and here's what the outcome is:





Tell me what you think: is it good, or are there mistakes? Thanks for looking!

Update on my art/progress report--

I am doing much better now, IMO. I have learned quite a lot on cartoon expressions, too, and know how to better place the eyes and add expression. As for proportions--I struggle with them, but I tend to win the battle.

Compare this to the above, I am doing better for sure!


After looking over this thread's pages, I realize how much you guys have helped me!
